Network Marketing Facts – Six Tips to Permanently Eliminate Rejection

December 28th, 2009

Introducing Network Marketing Facts hindering your success. If you have been in network marketing for any amount of time, you have probably heard of statements like: “Rejection is part of the game. You must swallow hard and move on. That is what you have to go through if you want to be successful in network marketing. You have to live with it”.

Right? Wrong!

Do you sometimes fear to pick up the phone and call prospects? Is your upline telling you to endure? Are you wondering how long this stuff will go on? No wonder, 97% of the network marketers who get started fail.

I have good news for you. You can eliminate rejection permanently from your network marketing business. That is a network marketing fact even Guru’s don’t know. Have you ever wondered: Why are network marketers rejected and yet they are trying to help? “I am not interested” is the response or they hung the phone on you. You don’t have to endure such stuff.

Here are six critical Network marketing Facts you must know if you want to eliminate rejection:

Stop soliciting people who never asked to be solicited. You must put systems in place which keep funneling pre-qualified prospects into your pipeline. This is a hard network marketing fact most uplines are afraid to tell their distributors. Not everyone is your prospect. You must present your opportunity to those who have expressed some kind of interest in it. Have a genuine desire to help your prospects. Don’t think about closing the sale before the call. Just think about your prospect and how you can help them meet their needs. Start by getting information other than giving it. This is where most network marketers drop the bomb. You start with your sales pitch… How your products are great, how your company is second to none, how much you have a killer compensation plan. Here is a network marketing fact: “All these things don’t matter so much”. Using this strategy will kill your business. That is why they will raise objections to everything you are saying. You must ask questions to see if what you have to offer is of any value to them. People buy things for their own reasons not yours. Assure your prospects that it is okay to say no if they don’t like what you are offering. And, don’t just say it. Mean what you are saying. Statements like, “Well I have something but I don’t know if it is a fit for you”. This will take the sales pressure from you. No one likes being pressured. Listen Listen and Listen. It is okay to have silence interludes. Unfortunately, most network marketers have been taught to overcome objections. This is totally wrong. Here is a network marketing fact, if you listen very carefully, you will never ever suffer from rejection again. Your prospects will see that you are truly interested in them and they will do business with you. Respect your clients and their decisions. This is very hard for most of network marketers. If your prospect says no, they mean it. At this time, you must ask them why and probably give them more information if they want to understand something. And, as a true professional, you should know when to move away from the sale.

When you get these network marketing facts, you will start enjoying the beauty of network marketing. You will always look forward to making the next call.

Again, you don’t have to suffer rejection. Your life is too precious to waste like that. If you take these facts at heart, if you start implementing them, you will wonder how you managed without them.

Network Marketing Information – The Ann Sieg Renegade Marketer System (Part 2)

November 18th, 2009

Finding good quality network marketing information is difficult at best on the Internet. Everyone seems to have a hidden agenda for the information they give away.

But if you read any updated marketing book you will find the value and positioning power of educational marketing. That is the true genius of Ann Sieg’s Renegade Marketer system, it offers people an education in network marketing. It gives away the knowledge that most successful network marketers hide away like Golem and his “Precious” ring.

Like I said in part 1 of this 2 part article Ann Sieg’s Renegade Marketer System isn’t perfect, but it’s darn good. The beauty of the system lies in it’s simplicity. And the entire system truly simplifies the process of building a sustainable and profitable network marketing business.

But it’s more than just a simple promotional tool. It also allows you to diversify your business portfolio, giving your prospects a quality educational experience: referring them to great Internet resources that will help them build a strong network marketing and affiliate business.

In the network marketing industry, in my own opinion, the strength of your team truly lies in how well you do training your downline. Sieg’s book and system starts your prospects on a strong path, showing them the roadblocks they will face along the way, and giving them strategies for maximizing their time and efforts.

When I first got started in network marketing, I had no clue what to do first.

My upline told to buy very expensive leads and start getting good on the phone. After spending upward of $1500 dollars on leads my first month, with no return, I got frustrated. My upline told me to buy more leads from the company. This is insanity at it’s highest level! I Google my former upline’s names two years later and I can not find them, they are still paying their lead company to promote their company replicated website to generate leads at $15 a piece! There is absolutely no branding for them or their business, their MLM company owns them and their business, and they don’t know it! Unbelievable!

The Renegade will teach you how to brand yourself, how to position yourself as a solution provider rather than some slimy salesperson or desperate network marketer. It will simplify the process of building a network and team of like minded individuals. It is a “work at your own pace” type of program, take it slow, learn it completely, and we’ll see you at the top.

Network Marketing Success- 8 Strategies for Effective Downline Leadership

November 16th, 2009

Leading a downline is a challenging part of any MLM or network marketing business. But effective leadership is a vital part of helping your downline to produce at top levels.

Here are eight success strategies for effective MLM leadership.

1. Ask questions. Effective leadership involves empowering your downline to do things for themselves. Allow your downline to solve their own problems and answer their own questions. Guiding them to the answers is a matter of asking the right questions as an upline:

“What do you think you could do in that situation?”

“What worked out the best for you with this business-building event?”

“How would you handle that differently next time?”

When you are tempted to tell a team member what to do, ask a question instead and allow them to discover the answer for themselves.

2. Find each individual’s personal strength. Many times, the network marketing industry is so focused on duplication that we forget the fact that each individual brings a unique set of skills, strengths, and experiences. Invest some time identifying particular ways that a person can be successful with your business – even if they are beyond the duplicatable system that you have set up.

3. Lead, don’t push. Effective leadership doesn’t involve pushing, dragging, or bribing people to success. Leading is about walking out in front of people, successfully working the business so that they will want to follow you on their own accord. It’s about making personal relationships with people so that they can ask you questions. Provide the information and tools they need, and then inspire them by successfully demonstrating the example yourself.

4. Manage your time effectively. As a leader, you’re constantly identifying the one thing that is the most valuable use of your time, right now. Effective leaders don’t allow each of their team members to chat away for hours on the phone. View yourself as a businessperson, and keep each conversation on task.

5. Teach that consistency is the key to success. Help your downline to understand that success is never about one isolated event. It’s a marathon – not a sprint – with continual and consistent baby steps. Create a list of simple business building tasks, and teach them to keep a log of the tasks completed each day. Whether it’s 3, 5, or 10 tasks, let them know that success depends on how many of these tasks they commit to completing on a consistent basis.

6. Keep consistent communication. Send team updates or newsletters via email to your downline at least every two weeks. Recognize achievements as much as possible. Everyone loves to see his or her name in print. This, in itself, can be tremendously motivating.

7. Know when to move on. Recognize that you can’t make anyone do anything. You can lead, but if one of your downline won’t follow – it might be a better use of your time to find a more self-motivated person than to beat yourself up to motivate someone who, for one reason or another, isn’t working at the business.

8. Take five. Creating a large and successful network marketing team is so fun and rewarding that we sometimes forget to take breaks – and that can lead to burnout. Take some time off every now and then, and enjoy the journey.
