Advertising in Multi Level Marketing is vital to any Network Marketing Business. Starting your Multi Level Marketing business does not have to cost your hundreds or even thousands of dollars. I want you to read that last sentence again, because it is very important.
When starting a business, be it a home candle business or any other Multi Level Marketing home business, you need to design a budget. You do not have to go broke starting your business.
There are many great low cost and even FREE tools including advertising that will help jump start your business. Here are several FREE advertising ideas to help you start advertising your Multi Level Marketing business.
1. Writing Press Releases: Writing a press release is not difficult, it is not any different that writing any other type of document. Write a press release about your business, your product, your company opportunity, when you have accomplished a new level of achievement in your company’s compensation plan. There are so many reasons to write a press release, it creates great exposure for your business. Many websites offer tips on how to write a press release and where you can submit your press release. My favorite place is PRWeb (Press Release Newswire) hey offer tips and ideas, and FREE posting of your press release.
2. Submit Your Articles: There are many great websites and ezines to submit your articles to. Make sure that your articles have great value to the readers and that it is informative. Writing articles is a great technique to brand you as an expert in your Multi Level Marketing business. Having your articles listed on different websites and ezines will allow other publishers to “borrow” your article for their website, ezine or newsletter. You want to be sure to have your “bio” at the end of each article you write also make sure that you have a link to your MLM business in your bio. Your “bio” stays attached to your article no matter where or who “borrows” your article. Keep in mind having one of your articles in one ezine it could reach potential thousands of prospects.
3. Write Blogs: Another great tool for your articles. Search Engines love blogs and the Search Engines spider’s blogs more often. Remember you can have several different blogs and I believe it is important to have several different blogs for your interests. For example, I have three blogs at this time, one for recipes and cooking, one about my candle business and the third about MLM tips and tools. I also plan to set up a couple of other blogs in other areas of interest to me. On your blogs you should have links to your various websites, the ezines where your articles are located. One reason for putting your articles not only on your blogs but other websites and ezines is that more links coming into your personal website the better the rankings in the Search Engines and of course more potential customers and prospects to your website.
4. FREE Advertising Websites: There are several of these websites on the internet. Google “FREE advertising websites” and you will get a multitude of websites to try. Remember consistency is the key here. A great way to see where you are getting your leads, from which advertising site is to use a different email address for each ad you place or you can put a different code in the ad; this helps to see what advertising website is generating the leads.
5. Organize a FREE Seminar/Workshop: Sharing information that can be informative to others as well as bringing value to them is one way of creating relationships. Relationshipping is a significant part of growing your business and building trust with people. At the conclusion of your seminar or workshop you can share information about your business, service, and product or business opportunity. Depending on your product giving a FREE sample to each person attending along with your business cars is an excellent idea.
6. Participate in Discussion Groups and Forums: There are many excellent discussion groups and forums covering a wide range of interests on the internet. Discussion groups and forums are a place to share your ideas, tips to give advice to others, brand you as an expert. Do not blast ads about your company, products, or business opportunity. That is not to say that you can never share your products or business opportunity, however, you are trying to build trust with people. Give advice or as the saying goes “give your two cents” about a topic. Start a topic that interests you and share your tips and ideas. Give people value and a reason to trust you.
7. Email Signature: This is a very effective technique in creating publicity for your website. Do not make your signature too long or containing so much information. Keep your signature short, sweet and to the point. Use this signature not only on all your emails that you send out but any written letters. For example:

8. Social Networking: Social Networking is all the rage these days and why not, this is an excellent method for branding yourself on the internet as an expert in your field of interest. Multi Level Marketing advertising is vital to your Network Marketing business. Without advertising either online or offline it would be very difficult to build your business into a success.
Before you leap in head first you need to set a budget, not just for advertising but for all the costs involved in starting a Multi Level Marketing home business. Not setting a budget could be the cause of your business not succeeding. It is far too easy to spend more money than you have; than your business can suffer and give you a bad outlook about Network Marketing. So work on a budget and stick with it.

Leading a downline is a challenging part of any MLM or network marketing business. But effective leadership is a vital part of helping your downline to produce at top levels.
Here are eight success strategies for effective MLM leadership.
1. Ask questions. Effective leadership involves empowering your downline to do things for themselves. Allow your downline to solve their own problems and answer their own questions. Guiding them to the answers is a matter of asking the right questions as an upline:
“What do you think you could do in that situation?”
“What worked out the best for you with this business-building event?”
“How would you handle that differently next time?”
When you are tempted to tell a team member what to do, ask a question instead and allow them to discover the answer for themselves.
2. Find each individual’s personal strength. Many times, the network marketing industry is so focused on duplication that we forget the fact that each individual brings a unique set of skills, strengths, and experiences. Invest some time identifying particular ways that a person can be successful with your business – even if they are beyond the duplicatable system that you have set up.
3. Lead, don’t push. Effective leadership doesn’t involve pushing, dragging, or bribing people to success. Leading is about walking out in front of people, successfully working the business so that they will want to follow you on their own accord. It’s about making personal relationships with people so that they can ask you questions. Provide the information and tools they need, and then inspire them by successfully demonstrating the example yourself.
4. Manage your time effectively. As a leader, you’re constantly identifying the one thing that is the most valuable use of your time, right now. Effective leaders don’t allow each of their team members to chat away for hours on the phone. View yourself as a businessperson, and keep each conversation on task.
5. Teach that consistency is the key to success. Help your downline to understand that success is never about one isolated event. It’s a marathon – not a sprint – with continual and consistent baby steps. Create a list of simple business building tasks, and teach them to keep a log of the tasks completed each day. Whether it’s 3, 5, or 10 tasks, let them know that success depends on how many of these tasks they commit to completing on a consistent basis.
6. Keep consistent communication. Send team updates or newsletters via email to your downline at least every two weeks. Recognize achievements as much as possible. Everyone loves to see his or her name in print. This, in itself, can be tremendously motivating.
7. Know when to move on. Recognize that you can’t make anyone do anything. You can lead, but if one of your downline won’t follow – it might be a better use of your time to find a more self-motivated person than to beat yourself up to motivate someone who, for one reason or another, isn’t working at the business.
8. Take five. Creating a large and successful network marketing team is so fun and rewarding that we sometimes forget to take breaks – and that can lead to burnout. Take some time off every now and then, and enjoy the journey.

Attraction Marketing is the Franchise of Network Marketing

Over the years, many of us have been exposed to network marketing, better known as MLM, and probably don’t have many fond memories of the experience. This being the case, why should we consider this business model again when considering a home based business.
First off, the industry has changed to a large degree if you know where to look and we will talk about that in a moment. But for now lets just say that MLM is a proven business model and has created many successful entrepreneurs.
There are two other ways of going into business. You can buy into a franchise situation or go the traditional method of business. However, unless you have a ton of cash and a lot of time on your hands, these two models are not a practical way to go. At least not for the 50 plus generation. Of course with a franchise, everything is laid out for you step by step making it almost impossible to fail. With the traditional method, there are no guarantees and your success is at the mercy of trial and error and all the expenses involved. Again a ton of cash and lots of your time is required.
So, where does all this leave us. It beings us right back to network marketing. With this business model you will have none of all the normal expenses associated with starting your own business, rent, help, inventory etc. In fact, if done correctly, you can build your business on a very low budget of both time and money. Being of the senior citizen generation, time and money are a prime consideration.
As said above, network marketing has changed in recent years. Though the old way of doing network marketing is still being taught through out the net, if you know where to look, there is a new process that greatly reduces the time and money required to build your business be that online or offline. There is a new book out by an expert in the field called “The 7 Greatest Lies of Network Marketing” that you will find very informative.
The new way I am talking about is Attraction Marketing. If you have done any research at all on the search engines, I am sure you have heard about it.
What is attraction marketing and why should you consider learning all about it. Even if I did, would it work for me in my marketing efforts?
Yes! The system of attraction marketing is completely generic and will work whether your business is offline or online and regardless of the product you are offering.
Getting back to the franchise situation, where everything is laid out for you , step by step, making it almost impossible to fail as long as you follow the road map they have laid out for you. This is exactly what the attraction marketing process will do for you. Some have even called this system “The Poor Mans Franchise”. Just follow the training that they provide and plug in whatever it is you want to market and you will be doing more real marketing than 95% of any of your competition. And don’t let anyone ever tell anything differently, marketing is the life blood of any business. You must do it so you must learn it.
This process will teach you how to create a web of content through out the internet with hundreds, and soon, thousands of links, fingers, all pointing back to you and whatever it is you are marketing. Your clients will be seeking you out. They will know who you are and what you have to offer. You will never again need to spend you time and money looking for them. Can you imagine how quickly your business and income will grow if you only need to spend your time with people who come to you already interest in you.
But the best thing about this whole process, as far as I’m concerned, is that much of what you will learn and be doing, will be cost free or at least very low cost. The old way of internet marketing, buying leads, running after friends and family and others who probably have no interest at all in going into business, is dead. It don’t work if ever it did.
However, this process of attraction marketing will require you to to possess and exercise three qualities. 1. Belief- You must have belief in yourself that you can do this and belief that the process will work. It will and you can.
2. Discipline- this system will work for you but you must be willing to work the system. Remember the franchise situation, laid out step by step, the same thing applies here. But there are no inspectors checking up on you to make sure you are following guidelines. With this franchise, it’s completely up to you.
3. Patience- This system will work as long as you are willing to do whatever is you need to do, even if you don’t want to. Plus it won’t happen overnight but you will be amazed at how fast it happens. We are only talking months here folks and not the years it will take doing it any other way.
This is a proven and viable business model. It has been proven as a business model and unless you have a ton of cash and time to spend building a home based business, this sis the only way to go. Learn the attraction marketing system and you will on your way. You don’t need to know it all, I don’t, just take that first step and get started and you can learn whatever else you need as you go., OJT.
