Are You Having Trouble Getting Started?

Network marketing advertising may be a struggle for you. You’re not alone. Many people in the network marketing industry have wondered how to go about advertising their products and business opportunity. The internet is there for all to use.

What do we do with it?

A big challenge is the restrictions companies put on their distributors. In most cases distributors can’t even mention their products and company name on websites not approved by the company. And linking from your website to any company website is strictly forbidden.

There are legal reasons that motivate network marketing companies to be so strict. But that doesn’t really help you, does it? So you are doomed to a life of one-on-one prospecting even though the rest of the business world is capturing the power of internet marketing. Right?

Wrong.

Such legalities and restrictions do not make network marketing advertising an impossiblilty for you. And no… you do not need to find another company that is less strict? Their rules could change as well.

You have no doubt heard the expression…

“When life hands you lemons make lemon aid.”

Essentially that means when things go badly make the best of it. But this is not one of those situations. In your case…

These Restrictions Work to Your Advantage

Now before you think that I am some sort of raving optimist… think again. I am a glass-half-full kind of guy. In fact – sometimes I can’t even see the glass. Ask my wife.

I mean it when I say these restrictions are an advantage to you. Because they force you to reevaluate how you do business. Think about it for a moment. If you boil your message down you will probably come up with two points…

My products are great… My opportunity is great…

Guess what. No one cares. Everybody says that. That message is spread all over the internet and nobody is listening. If you say the same thing nobody will listen to you either.

Force yourself out of this mode of thinking. If you do that you could create a network marketing advertising system that will effectively bring eager prospects to you.

So grab your lemons – or what you thought were lemons – and think through this with me.

Network Marketing Advertising is About Branding Yourself

Think about what most new distributors do in the offline world. They do things like…

Refer prospects to their up-line Get prospects in front of company bigwigs Rattle off company statistics of success Have three-way calls with those who have ‘made it’

Things like that.

What is all this? In part it is an attempt to show your prospect that you are believable… That you can lead her to success… That this will really work. In other words – it is an attempt to sell yourself.

And that is exactly what you need to sell.

Network marketing advertising – and any other kind of advertising – is an exercise in selling YOU.

When you get started you are not very believable. Why should anyone take your advice for success? Why should they trust you? All they have to go on is your word that this thing works and you know what you are doing.

They need more to go on. And that is what you give them.

Your network marketing advertising should focus on providing value to your prospects before any of them are your prospects. Show them how they can succeed with or without you. Give them sound advice for building their business.

Not for marketing your products. Not being involved in your opportunity.

Advise them on how to succeed in any business venture. Share your expertise with them.

There are innumerable ways to apply this method. You don’t have to focus on business growth. You may want to focus on products. But don’t mention your products. Give people expert advice on how to use products like yours. Show them how to make their lives better whether they buy your products or not.

This is called branding. It is selling YOU. It is demonstrating that you are someone who can be trusted to lead others to success in whatever arena you chose.

And it is the best way you can succeed with your network marketing advertising.

Network Marketing – Don’t Cold Call, Use This Strategy Instead

Cold calling in network marketing or multi-level marketing (MLM) business is close to being dead. It’s still alive because some people are still using it to a certain degree of success. However, the people who are using it have personally gone through the cold calling refining process and managed to have it burned into their very being. Can you do cold calling though? And even if you can, can you expect your downlines to do the same? In network marketing, there are many ways to overcome this problem of cold calling and right now, I will share with you a strategy that you and your downlines can use to get your prospects to open up their wallets to you.

This strategy is a very old strategy but it still works perfectly to this day. In fact, a virus was named after it and it is still one of the most common viruses that people around the world are facing to this day. Don’t worry though, I’m not going to ask you to do anything illegal. This strategy has been in place on the internet and it works like a charm. What is it?

It’s the Trojan Horse strategy.

When you are doing your network marketing efforts, give your prospects a benefit. A free report, a free sample, free information, in return for giving you their email contact to followup with them. For the people that don’t take up the free stuff, you don’t have to carry on with them because they would not be worth your effort to promote to anyway. For the people that accept your benefit, what happens is your benefit will actually go to work in them. Like the Trojan Horse, it keeps silent until it strikes at an opportune time. No cold calling required at all!

What’s even better is that the free benefit that you’ve given to your prospect can have many results – some of which you can control even (that depends on what strategy you are using). The best thing though, is that your free benefit has the power to convince the prospect without you having to do any convincing work which is required when doing cold calling.

The Top Network Marketing Company! The Best MLM Business Opportunity!

Do you want to know what the top network marketing company and the best mlm business opportunity is?

Well, the truth is that there is no one best or top network marketing company for everyone!

Now, there are some companies that may be at the top position in the industry as far as sales, or growth, or number of distributors recruited; but that has absolutely NOTHING to do with your individual success in network marketing.

That may go against the grain of what you are usually led to believe, but it’s the honest truth.

Do you want to know why you are told those things about how great a particular company or product is?

For the most part, it’s simply a way to get you excited so you will sign up making your decision based on emotion, before you have a chance to look at everything from a logical perspective.

If you were to look at the situation logically, you should see that it doesn’t matter how great a network marketing company is, their company history, their compensation plan, etc. The reason is, that the ONLY person that is going to actually build your business is YOU!

Being in the industry a while, I have run across the ‘mlm junkie’ many times.

This is a person who joins a network marketing company for a little while with little success, then gets pitched on the next great network marketing opportunity and jumps ship because he thinks the grass is greener on the other side. The trademark is that these people do this over and over again and then they wonder why nothing is working for them.

They are looking for a particular company, product, or opportunity to create success for them. It doesn’t happen. YOU must create that success.

The important thing to remember is that the grass is never really greener on the other side:

It still has to be mowed! The REAL difference is what kind of mower you are using and HOW you are operating that mower that is the true key to success.

Let me rephrase that: Success in network marketing and mlm is NOT based upon how great a company is or if they are at the top position in the industry. It is based on HOW you personally build your business and WHAT vehicles you use to get the job done. It’s your EFFECTIVENESS and your skill level.

If you know how to market your business effectively, then you can succeed in a start up, bottom of the list company OR in a so-called top ranked network marketing company. A company ranking or position really doesn’t matter as much as they lead you to believe.

It’s JUST a company. YOU are the one that makes it successful! You don’t see people in the corporate world get all excited about the company they work for, do you? Why? Because they are mainly excited about THEIR paycheck and THEIR results. Companies come and go. It’s all about what you do and how you do it that will make you a successful network marketing independent business owner.

So, please don’t get so excited about the rankings, sales, or history of a network marketing company because the true thing that matters is what YOU bring to the table and how effective YOU are. Without the personal successes of individual reps, mlm companies would be nothing.

That means you should work on yourself and what you are personally doing and using to build your business successfully.
