Network Marketing – Get More Prospects by Offering the Product They Want

Do You Know What Your Best Commodity Is?

To be successful in network marketing you must answer this foundational question. If you are going to build any small business – be it brick and mortar or any home based business – it is essential to know what your best product is.

If you listen to what most people in the network marketing industry say it seems safe to assume that the focus is on two things: product quality and the opportunity itself. Prospecting becomes an activity where the business owner tries to convince friends or strangers that his products are the best. Or that some aspect of his opportunity is the greatest. The best pay plan for example.

Granted these are important. But most prospects aren’t really interested in the quality of your products or the richness of your pay plan. That is because it is not immediately obvious to your prospect how any of this affects her. It may be obvious to you. But she doesn’t get it.

Why? Because she isn’t looking for your quality products or your great pay plan. So if she isn’t looking for your product, selling its quality doesn’t help you sponsor people.

If product quality – or your opportunity – is not your number one selling point then what is? To answer that all important question let’s ask another one.

What One Thing Are All Your Prospects Looking For?

Once you answer this question properly you will realize that selling product quality – or your opportunity – isn’t your best course of action. In fact you don’t want to sell your products at all. Not directly.

Confused?

To clear up the confusion let’s answer the second question. All your potential prospects and customers are looking for solutions to their problems.

So how do you build a successful home based business? You identify the problems your potential prospects and customers have and provide solutions.

Let’s look at two examples:

Let’s say that you know something about kidney health. Instead of trying to convince people that your product will cure their kidney problems take a slightly different approach.

Produce content that helps people solve their kidney problems.

Tell people – a certain niche of people – how they can improve their own kidney health. Maybe there are certain dietary considerations to keep in mind. Perhaps exercise can help. Perhaps drinking more water. Perhaps supplementing with certain nutrients.

Whatever someone can do to improve their kidney health… tell them. Help them heal themselves.

So are you healing the world for free? Not exactly. You are branding yourself as a trusted expert and advisor in a particular area of health. You are demonstrating yourself to be an expert to whom people can turn when they want solutions to their kidney problems.

And they will take your advice. When it comes time to buy a product that will help them, to whom do you think they will turn?

Here’s the other example.

Let’s say you know a lot about building an online network marketing company. Why not help other people achieve the same success? Tell them how to do it. Help hungry business builders begin the process of building their own successful network marketing business.

Tell them how to change their thinking away from traditional prospecting methods. Tell them where and how to build online content. Tell them how to build a marketing system that will draw prospects to them.

Again, you are branding yourself as an expert advisor who will help others achieve their goals and solve their problems. When it comes time to align themselves with someone in business to whom do you think they will turn?

The Best Thing You Can Offer Your Prospects

But I still haven’t fully answered your question. The question about what your number one commodity is.

Have you guessed it? It is not your product. Nor is it your opportunity. It is nothing like this. It is…

YOU.

You, as an expert and mentor, are the most important thing you have to offer your prospects. Show them that you are willing to help them solve their problems and they will seek you out.

Old School Network Marketing To New School Network Marketing

What is old school network marketing, you might be wondering. Well this term old school network marketing is referring to the way people would do business and build their network marketing business in the earlier years of when this industry really began.

Most of these methods are exactly what turns people off and has given the industry a bad name. Now some people will argue with me on this and some will agree. It really does not matter to me if you agree or disagree with me on this. I am simply telling you how it is.

The old school method of building a network marketing business turns people off and give the industry a bad name, in my opinion because this method teaches people to target and approach people who are not qualified or targeted in respects for starting a home based business. This is a method that teaches you to convince people that they should have a network marketing business, instead of talking to people who are already looking for a business.

The old school method of building your network marketing business involves writing a list of friends and family members and possibly inviting them over for dinner and just as dinner is about to begin you take out a whiteboard and start drawing circles. You are doing what is referred to as showing the plan. You try to convince them they should be involved. People eventually got so turned off of this type of prospecting that when they hear the word MLM, they come back and ask you if this is one of those things?

Now with the new school way of building your network marketing business, you are encouraged to prospect and talk to people who have expressed an interest in owning or starting a home based business opportunity. This way just makes much more sense when it comes to business. You are not chasing people down who do not want to talk to you about network marketing, and you no longer have convince people that they should be interested in network marketing.

New school network marketing teaches you how to target the right people who would be right for your business as well. You no longer have to sit down and write out a list of your friends and family to go and convince. There are now companies out there that will actually target market for you and generate interested prospects for your network marketing business, or you can even place ads yourself and generate these targeted prospects on your own.

Then for presenting your network marketing business, you no longer have to pull out the whiteboard and draw a bunch of circles or use flip charts. You now can embrace tools such as telephone conference lines and the power of the Internet to use flash presentations so that you no longer have to give the presentations yourself.

Overall, the new school way of building your network marketing business just makes so much sense. If you really want to expand and take your network marketing business to the next level, I then suggest you embrace the new school network marketing strategies.

The first time I went for my network marketing business training, I watched as different business builders came on the stage to tell their business success stories. Every MLM operation offers the same promises for their home based business of being easy to operate, no real skills required, huge earnings potential, retire on a rising passive income in as little as 5 years and have a greater quality of life with more time available for your family by having a home business. Surely by now you’ve heard of network marketing and its promises to generate for you an unlimited income from the luxury of your own home without the stress of a fixed workday schedule.

You buy the products from someone who is already a member of a network marketing company. It simply is a recruiting tool, CD, DVD, or Brochure, or website/webcast, or any other tool that you can use to tell the story of the MLM Network Marketing Company you enrolled in. Ask anyone that has been in the business for a long time and they will tell you that the most important benefit is that it can build a new ‘YOU’, It can make you a person that succeeds in any venture in life.

When people join a network marketing downline they bring with them this crazy idea that they need the corporate structure in their new business. Show How your Business can help people in their Life, with Results and benefits beyond the Business. That is The Secret to MLM, as it is all about creating a WildFire of Success in your group, with people who want their life to burn with Success, not mediocrity.

Many people get into network marketing with the thought that all they have to do is find a couple of people and then just kind of sit back and watch the checks come in. If you really think about it, prospecting is simply the tactics and strategies of finding people to talk to about your business. After my first Network Marketing Business failed, I continued to do research on the concept and I was determined to figure out how the 5% who do succeed with MLM go about doing it.

A Network Marketing distributor website with PULLING POWER is a strong indication of the seriousness you and your company project, and most companies today have a website that can be pointed to and accessed for information and links. There will always be a risk when you join a network marketing company because you are simply a distributor of a product or service but if you use the following, you will at least have your eyes open.

Attraction Marketing is the Franchise of Network Marketing

Over the years, many of us have been exposed to network marketing, better known as MLM, and probably don’t have many fond memories of the experience. This being the case, why should we consider this business model again when considering a home based business.

First off, the industry has changed to a large degree if you know where to look and we will talk about that in a moment. But for now lets just say that MLM is a proven business model and has created many successful entrepreneurs.

There are two other ways of going into business. You can buy into a franchise situation or go the traditional method of business. However, unless you have a ton of cash and a lot of time on your hands, these two models are not a practical way to go. At least not for the 50 plus generation. Of course with a franchise, everything is laid out for you step by step making it almost impossible to fail. With the traditional method, there are no guarantees and your success is at the mercy of trial and error and all the expenses involved. Again a ton of cash and lots of your time is required.

So, where does all this leave us. It beings us right back to network marketing. With this business model you will have none of all the normal expenses associated with starting your own business, rent, help, inventory etc. In fact, if done correctly, you can build your business on a very low budget of both time and money. Being of the senior citizen generation, time and money are a prime consideration.

As said above, network marketing has changed in recent years. Though the old way of doing network marketing is still being taught through out the net, if you know where to look, there is a new process that greatly reduces the time and money required to build your business be that online or offline. There is a new book out by an expert in the field called “The 7 Greatest Lies of Network Marketing” that you will find very informative.

The new way I am talking about is Attraction Marketing. If you have done any research at all on the search engines, I am sure you have heard about it.

What is attraction marketing and why should you consider learning all about it. Even if I did, would it work for me in my marketing efforts?

Yes! The system of attraction marketing is completely generic and will work whether your business is offline or online and regardless of the product you are offering.

Getting back to the franchise situation, where everything is laid out for you , step by step, making it almost impossible to fail as long as you follow the road map they have laid out for you. This is exactly what the attraction marketing process will do for you. Some have even called this system “The Poor Mans Franchise”. Just follow the training that they provide and plug in whatever it is you want to market and you will be doing more real marketing than 95% of any of your competition. And don’t let anyone ever tell anything differently, marketing is the life blood of any business. You must do it so you must learn it.

This process will teach you how to create a web of content through out the internet with hundreds, and soon, thousands of links, fingers, all pointing back to you and whatever it is you are marketing. Your clients will be seeking you out. They will know who you are and what you have to offer. You will never again need to spend you time and money looking for them. Can you imagine how quickly your business and income will grow if you only need to spend your time with people who come to you already interest in you.

But the best thing about this whole process, as far as I’m concerned, is that much of what you will learn and be doing, will be cost free or at least very low cost. The old way of internet marketing, buying leads, running after friends and family and others who probably have no interest at all in going into business, is dead. It don’t work if ever it did.

However, this process of attraction marketing will require you to to possess and exercise three qualities. 1. Belief- You must have belief in yourself that you can do this and belief that the process will work. It will and you can.

2. Discipline- this system will work for you but you must be willing to work the system. Remember the franchise situation, laid out step by step, the same thing applies here. But there are no inspectors checking up on you to make sure you are following guidelines. With this franchise, it’s completely up to you.

3. Patience- This system will work as long as you are willing to do whatever is you need to do, even if you don’t want to. Plus it won’t happen overnight but you will be amazed at how fast it happens. We are only talking months here folks and not the years it will take doing it any other way.

This is a proven and viable business model. It has been proven as a business model and unless you have a ton of cash and time to spend building a home based business, this sis the only way to go. Learn the attraction marketing system and you will on your way. You don’t need to know it all, I don’t, just take that first step and get started and you can learn whatever else you need as you go., OJT.

Multi Level Or Network Marketing – Statistic Or Success?

Probably the first time you went to your Multilevel Marketing meeting you were inspired, you were charged up. The presenter probably told you that this wasn’t really selling, just relationship marketing. Just get two people who get two people and so on and before long, you will be making $$$$$$ per month. Just visit with your FNR group (friends, neighbors, relatives) then make a list of your warm market (about 150-200 people), people that you know and see on a regular basis; the butcher, the baker, and the candlestick maker. Simple, just takes a little work. Oh yeah, you have a replicated website to send prospects to and you will be charged $$$ per month for that.

Well after about two months you are a member of the NFL Club (No Friends Left). Your sponsor says you may need to buy some leads. Or buy genealogy lists, people who have been in network marketing. This will improve your chances of getting leads. Just make about 100 calls a day.

Well after about two months you may have signed up a few people but chances are you are spending more money than you have made. Again this is the result of most people including myself at one time.

Multilevel Marketing or Network Marketing continues to get a bad eye because of these reasons. But it is a business that can give you that extra income from your home. Home based business opportunities give a person the chance to work extra from home and earn the needed money to pay the bills. While $10,000.00 a month income sounds great, most anyone would be satisfied with just a few hundred dollars a month to make a car payment. But if you can make that much, you can make much more. It’s just all in the know how!

And what is that know how? I would never be able to explain it all here in this article. What if you had people coming to you to find out about your product or service? What if you never had to get on the phone and call people to get them in your business. What if you were never subjected to rejection (one of the key reason some people fail). That’s the position where you have to be.

Do you see yourself as successful? Can you see the day when you can be making the big bucks from home? Do you even think it’s possible? If you can’t visualize those goals, you will never reach them. But for those people who get in the right mindset, there are tactics and strategies that the top internet marketers use to explode their business that are available to everyone who has the desire to reach their limits.

One of the most important things these top earners do is change. I’m sure you have heard of the definition of insanity, doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. Well when something these guys are doing doesn’t work, they change in a heartbeat! They don’t go for perfection, only progress.

Take a hard look at your progress, does the definition of insanity fit you. What are you doing different today in your business that you were not doing last week? Examine yourself closely. You can become a top earner!! Do you want to be a statistic or a success?
