Stop soliciting people who never asked to be solicited. You must put systems in place which keep funneling pre-qualified prospects into your pipeline. This is a hard network marketing fact most uplines are afraid to tell their distributors. Not everyone is your prospect. You must present your opportunity to those who have expressed some kind of interest in it. Have a genuine desire to help your prospects. Don’t think about closing the sale before the call. Just think about your prospect and how you can help them meet their needs. Start by getting information other than giving it. This is where most network marketers drop the bomb. You start with your sales pitch… How your products are great, how your company is second to none, how much you have a killer compensation plan. Here is a network marketing fact: “All these things don’t matter so much”. Using this strategy will kill your business. That is why they will raise objections to everything you are saying. You must ask questions to see if what you have to offer is of any value to them. People buy things for their own reasons not yours. Assure your prospects that it is okay to say no if they don’t like what you are offering. And, don’t just say it. Mean what you are saying. Statements like, “Well I have something but I don’t know if it is a fit for you”. This will take the sales pressure from you. No one likes being pressured. Listen Listen and Listen. It is okay to have silence interludes. Unfortunately, most network marketers have been taught to overcome objections. This is totally wrong. Here is a network marketing fact, if you listen very carefully, you will never ever suffer from rejection again. Your prospects will see that you are truly interested in them and they will do business with you. Respect your clients and their decisions. This is very hard for most of network marketers. And, as a true professional, you should know when to move away from the sale.

Do you want to know what the top network marketing company and the best mlm business opportunity is?
Well, the truth is that there is no one best or top network marketing company for everyone!
Now, there are some companies that may be at the top position in the industry as far as sales, or growth, or number of distributors recruited; but that has absolutely NOTHING to do with your individual success in network marketing.
That may go against the grain of what you are usually led to believe, but it’s the honest truth.
Do you want to know why you are told those things about how great a particular company or product is?
For the most part, it’s simply a way to get you excited so you will sign up making your decision based on emotion, before you have a chance to look at everything from a logical perspective.
If you were to look at the situation logically, you should see that it doesn’t matter how great a network marketing company is, their company history, their compensation plan, etc. The reason is, that the ONLY person that is going to actually build your business is YOU!
Being in the industry a while, I have run across the ‘mlm junkie’ many times.
This is a person who joins a network marketing company for a little while with little success, then gets pitched on the next great network marketing opportunity and jumps ship because he thinks the grass is greener on the other side. The trademark is that these people do this over and over again and then they wonder why nothing is working for them.
They are looking for a particular company, product, or opportunity to create success for them. It doesn’t happen. YOU must create that success.
The important thing to remember is that the grass is never really greener on the other side:
It still has to be mowed! The REAL difference is what kind of mower you are using and HOW you are operating that mower that is the true key to success.
Let me rephrase that: Success in network marketing and mlm is NOT based upon how great a company is or if they are at the top position in the industry. It is based on HOW you personally build your business and WHAT vehicles you use to get the job done. It’s your EFFECTIVENESS and your skill level.
If you know how to market your business effectively, then you can succeed in a start up, bottom of the list company OR in a so-called top ranked network marketing company. A company ranking or position really doesn’t matter as much as they lead you to believe.
It’s JUST a company. YOU are the one that makes it successful! You don’t see people in the corporate world get all excited about the company they work for, do you? Why? Because they are mainly excited about THEIR paycheck and THEIR results. Companies come and go. It’s all about what you do and how you do it that will make you a successful network marketing independent business owner.
So, please don’t get so excited about the rankings, sales, or history of a network marketing company because the true thing that matters is what YOU bring to the table and how effective YOU are. Without the personal successes of individual reps, mlm companies would be nothing.
That means you should work on yourself and what you are personally doing and using to build your business successfully.

Advertising in Multi Level Marketing is vital to any Network Marketing Business. Starting your Multi Level Marketing business does not have to cost your hundreds or even thousands of dollars. I want you to read that last sentence again, because it is very important.
When starting a business, be it a home candle business or any other Multi Level Marketing home business, you need to design a budget. You do not have to go broke starting your business.
There are many great low cost and even FREE tools including advertising that will help jump start your business. Here are several FREE advertising ideas to help you start advertising your Multi Level Marketing business.
1. Writing Press Releases: Writing a press release is not difficult, it is not any different that writing any other type of document. Write a press release about your business, your product, your company opportunity, when you have accomplished a new level of achievement in your company’s compensation plan. There are so many reasons to write a press release, it creates great exposure for your business. Many websites offer tips on how to write a press release and where you can submit your press release. My favorite place is PRWeb (Press Release Newswire) hey offer tips and ideas, and FREE posting of your press release.
2. Submit Your Articles: There are many great websites and ezines to submit your articles to. Make sure that your articles have great value to the readers and that it is informative. Writing articles is a great technique to brand you as an expert in your Multi Level Marketing business. Having your articles listed on different websites and ezines will allow other publishers to “borrow” your article for their website, ezine or newsletter. You want to be sure to have your “bio” at the end of each article you write also make sure that you have a link to your MLM business in your bio. Your “bio” stays attached to your article no matter where or who “borrows” your article. Keep in mind having one of your articles in one ezine it could reach potential thousands of prospects.
3. Write Blogs: Another great tool for your articles. Search Engines love blogs and the Search Engines spider’s blogs more often. Remember you can have several different blogs and I believe it is important to have several different blogs for your interests. For example, I have three blogs at this time, one for recipes and cooking, one about my candle business and the third about MLM tips and tools. I also plan to set up a couple of other blogs in other areas of interest to me. On your blogs you should have links to your various websites, the ezines where your articles are located. One reason for putting your articles not only on your blogs but other websites and ezines is that more links coming into your personal website the better the rankings in the Search Engines and of course more potential customers and prospects to your website.
4. FREE Advertising Websites: There are several of these websites on the internet. Google “FREE advertising websites” and you will get a multitude of websites to try. Remember consistency is the key here. A great way to see where you are getting your leads, from which advertising site is to use a different email address for each ad you place or you can put a different code in the ad; this helps to see what advertising website is generating the leads.
5. Organize a FREE Seminar/Workshop: Sharing information that can be informative to others as well as bringing value to them is one way of creating relationships. Relationshipping is a significant part of growing your business and building trust with people. At the conclusion of your seminar or workshop you can share information about your business, service, and product or business opportunity. Depending on your product giving a FREE sample to each person attending along with your business cars is an excellent idea.
6. Participate in Discussion Groups and Forums: There are many excellent discussion groups and forums covering a wide range of interests on the internet. Discussion groups and forums are a place to share your ideas, tips to give advice to others, brand you as an expert. Do not blast ads about your company, products, or business opportunity. That is not to say that you can never share your products or business opportunity, however, you are trying to build trust with people.
